All of the people at Staple Hill Salvation Army are volunteers themselves, with the exception of our Corps Officers (Church Leaders). All of these volunteers not only give of their time, but also of their money to support the ongoing work of The Salvation Army in Staple Hill.
At various time of the year we focus on specific fund raining activities to focus on specific needs.
We rely heavily on the goodwill of the local community and donations. In some cases from local foundations. We were extremely fortunate to receive such a donation from the Harry Crook foundation to support our latest building refurbishment. Our premises are in constant use by the community, and was in dire and urgent need of modernisation. The Harry Crook foundation enabled us to do much of that work, of which we are eternally grateful.
In many ways, our fund raising activities to complete payment for those works continue, and below you can see some immediate events that will support that.
