No-one likes to consider their eventual death and the repercussions it may have on those around them, but making a Will is increasingly important in today’s society. The Salvation Army believe that death on earth, although a deeply distressing time for those left behind, can be the start of an eternal life in the Kingdom of God. You can not take your earthly riches with you into eternity (see Luke 12 vs 13 – 21 for confirmation), but you can ensure that the estate you leave behind is used wisely for the benefit of your loved ones and to support good causes.
Please consider the work of the Salvation Army when writing or updating your will. You can specifically allocate funds to the army’s work in the Staple Hill community by stating Staple Hill Salvation Army in your bequest.
