Small Groups are an important way for people to get to know each other better. In church it can be easy for people to get lost in the crowd. Small groups provide an opportunity to get to build relationships with each other, study the Bible, talk about how it affects our lives and spend time in prayer. A number of small groups take place on a regular basis, both in our building on Broad Street and in people’s homes in the local area.
Following the lockdowns of the COVID pandemic, these small groups have grown and grown over ZOOM, so that now there is a real variety of ways to engage – either physical, or digital. Small Groups became known as “Extra Slice” during the pandemic, as a bit of an extra slice of Bible cake following on from the Sunday – they generally have around 12 people in them, whether physically or on Zoom, and currently take place both during the day and in the evening on a Wednesday, and on a Thursday evening only (at the moment).
Wednesday: 2pm, 3:30pm, 7pm or 8:15pm
Thursday: 8:15pm
